.lovely ladies day.

happy friday.


its the end of the week finally and as exciting as that 
would be for everyone, especially those who work full time, 
i have a weekend of assignments and homework to look forward to.
no crazy parties or drinking for little me this weekend.
actually no alcohol for a while, a detox is needed more i think.
i should probably add coffee to this dreamt up detox of mine.
safe to say i drink enough of it to sink a battleship 
(i love that game)


im a little sad that im missing out on a weekend away camping
with the boys but i have good reason to stay behind.
beside the warmth of my bed and access to a hot shower.
it shall be acknowledged in my next post as to why.


well as for today i had a lovely coffee date with a gorgeous friend of mine.
we firstly attended a much needed manicure and pedicure appointment
in Athelstone. thanks living social for the $19 voucher :)
it was nice to be pampered for a change, even if a fire alarm sounded
as we walked into the shop.
a fire engine arrived and everything, luckily there was no real concern
for them to be there.


after being scrubbed, moisturised and polished to perfection and a 30 mintue
sit in the most uncomfortable massage chair; :S 
my friend took me to her favourite coffee shop in Erindale. 
right around the corner for my cousins house. 
oh how i wish i had known of this cute little place while i was 
house sitting there in September last year.


We sat, we chatted, drank amazing coffee and ate amazing treats.
She is one of the strongest, smartest and most lovely people i know.
(also congratulations to her new job opportunity. 
the change will be amazing for her)

i dislike winter so very much, but today was quite nice despite the cold. 

i now plan on spending the rest of my afternoon listening to 'we the kings'

and possibly get some study done.
